Getting It Right the First Time
Plumbing and heating in a new home need to be planned and installed correctly from the start. Fixing mistakes after walls are closed up is expensive and disruptive. We've been the plumbing and heating contractor on new construction projects across the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire for over 30 years. We know how to coordinate with builders, stay on schedule, and deliver systems that work right from day one.
Working With Your Builder
We work directly with general contractors and homeowners on new builds. Communication is everything on a construction site. We show up when we're supposed to, do our work cleanly, and don't hold up other trades. Your builder will appreciate that, and so will your timeline.
If you're building your own home and acting as your own GC, we can walk you through the plumbing and heating decisions you'll need to make early in the process. Things like fixture placement, water heater sizing, boiler selection, and heating system type all need to be decided before framing starts.
The Process Start to Finish
Design and Permits
We review the blueprints, plan the plumbing layout, size the heating system, and pull all necessary permits. This happens before any pipe goes in the ground.
Underground and Rough-In
The first phase of plumbing happens before the slab is poured or after the foundation is in. We install the underground drain and water lines, then come back to rough in the supply and waste piping through the framing. If you're doing radiant heat, the tubing goes in during this phase too.
Inspections
The rough plumbing gets inspected before walls are closed. We schedule the inspection and make sure everything passes. No surprises.
Finish Work
After the walls are up and painted, we come back to install all the fixtures. Toilets, sinks, faucets, tubs, showers, dishwasher hookup, outside hose bibs. We also install and fire up the boiler or furnace and water heater. Final inspection follows.

- Boilers and heating systems including radiant, baseboard, and forced hot water
